Tully’s Holiday Beverages Are yummy and a great way to get free coffee
Red Envelope Picture Frame, Baby Products, Treasured Memories #giveaway
Red Envelope offers unique and personalized gifts for every occasion. They have jewelry to centerpieces to holiday treats. And they have one of the cutest line of Baby Gifts that I’ve ever scene. The baby gifts are so cute and look wonderful, but I wanted to capture something that would keep my memories for me.Red Envelope is a company specializing in memories. Be that, baby memories, photo memories or just lifetime memories they have it.
Take this frame for instance, Red Envelope sent me this frame for me to review. I love photos and I love colors. The bright colors are a perfect combination with all of the colors in the photos of the kids. I’m very excited about this review opportunity. Any time I get the chance to pick out photos for a frame is a ton of fun on my part.
Our wall gallery frame features a kaleidoscope of colors while making it easy to create an instant photo gallery. Capture all of the little one’s new firsts – first steps, first finger paintings, the first day of school. Suspended from a single white wall bracket, five frames hold a total of eight images. Optional plaque may be personalized with two lines of up to 15 characters each. Exclusively from RedEnvelope.
The Holiday Gifts Look Great too. The quality of the frae is ecellent so I can only imagine that the rest of the products are too. I’m also partial to a company that has a very nicely organized easy to use website.
They have offered one 75.00 Gift Card to their on-line store.

Saturday Morning Cartoons 1960’s Volume 2 Warner Brothers’ Donation.
Saturday Morning Cartoons 1960’s Collection V2 became available on DVD on October 27th and the DVD was sent to me for review from Kids WB. I am donating it to charity along with the Saturday Morning Cartoons 1970’s Collection V2 that they sent me a month ago.
These are shows that I grew up watching. I’m a child of the 80’s and these were still in syndication. The Jetsons were watched alongside the Flintstones. Take a trip down memory lane and share the most beloved Saturday Morning Cartoons from the 1960s with a new generation! This collection offers more of the best cartoons from this decade that the whole family can enjoy! 1960s Volume 2 features 13 shows on 2 discs! Re-live your childhood with this collection of 13 cartoons featuring some of the following beloved characters: Wally Gator, Porky Pig, Quick Draw McGraw, Magilla Gorilla and many more!
There was question while I was growing up about watching Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig. It was the most adult cartoon I think that I watched. My stepdad loved it, but I wasn’t so sure. It wasn’t until I was a bit older that I had more of an appreciation for it.
The Jetsons however, I always loved them, I bet they could do a re-make of this one and it would still be successful. Kids love space and the future of robots. It’s a great cartoon because there isn’t any violence.
I love that goodies but oldies like these are going to DVD. DVD is the best way to watch anything because it’s the only way to guarantee there are no commercials.

Jumpstart Escape from Adventure Island on Wii review and giveaway
The new jump Start Escape from Adventure Island game for the Wii is perfectly marked for the age group it is reaching out to. I believe it is marketing to ages 5 and up. We put the game in and gave it a go. You get to create your character and I think they did a good job with the creation engine, it’s just enough for a child. Not too detailed and the best part is that when you are in the game it looks the same. The graphics don’t change.
So you start out in a balloon and your balloon crashes. You end up on Adventure Island but you can’t leave until you earn enough sand dollars to pay for the repairs.
This is where the learning comes in. You scour the island and ocean following riddles, math problems and letter recognition. They can be as simple as matching numbers to the number representation to identifying the correct letter. The level can be chosen, light, medium and hard and you can choose the type of activity.
I chose one of the underwater games and my daughter seemed to really enjoy it. She liked swimming.
“Mommy, I’m a fish. “
The number recoginition is beyond her but we might work on her letters more tomorrow with this game. She sang her alphabet to her daddy today while I was at the Doctor. Makes me sad that I missed that.

No More TV until you pick up the toys
Today was one of those rainy days in the Pacific Northwest where we ran outside for the five minutes of sunshine and became frozen in the time it took to go to the mailbox and back.
So, as soon as we came back in Zoe wanted to watch more TV. I said no way. Then she didn’t want to do anything. I told her if you pick up all your toys you can watch more tv. She started cleaning immediately. I didn’t think that would work on a 3 year old. Finally after about ten minutes she came over to me, yes I was helping her clean and said,
“Mommy, cleaning is hard work”
Keeping my hands warm with Pump Gloves and you can too #giveaway
I contacted Pump Gloves and asked them to make a donation to my MOMS Club Gift basket. They sent me three pairs, so I’m keeping one pair, donating one pair and using the other pair as a giveaway.
I think they are great because it’s fall and they are going to keep my hands warm.
About Pump Gloves:
The days of simply driving into full service stations and saying, “Fill ‘er up!”are, for the most part, a thing of the past. Pump Gloves restore a bit of that luxury that has been lost to today’s multi-tasking ladies.
Pump Gloves are designed to protect a woman’s hands and manicure from the gas, grease, grime and germs she comes into contact with while pumping gasoline. Each pair is packaged in a handy vinyl storage bag made to fit conveniently into the glove compartment.
I love that the gloves are machine washable, and they are soft inside. They really keep my hands nice and toasty so they are better than just “pump gloves”. They also keep you warm. I also really think it’s creative that they have Velcro on the outside so that you can keep the pair together. I hate getting down to one glove. Not only are the soft, washable and convenient but they are stylish. I love how cute they are, with polka dots and a pink bow on each glove. This item makes my Christmas Gift Guide because I know they would make an excellent stocking stuffer and an excellent present for the woman in your life.

Do you leave comments on your own blog to raise your stats, conversation, or at all?
I was really wondering about this the past few weeks because I have been trying very hard to raise the comment count on each post. I’m getting an average of three but I look at some people’s blogs and I notice they have 30 to 40 comments on each post. How in the world I ask?
I know, they have a following but some of the blogs I go to have a ton of comments that are from themselves. That seems kind of odd to me. I remember reading in the beginning of my blogging adventures that it is advantageous to leave comments on your own posts, it just seems like cheating to me. It also seems a little selfish because if you are doing all of the comments on your own blog then you must be expecting a conversation in your comments. It must be nice to have that kind of following. You know, the kind that doesn’t care if you ever come and check out their blog.
I’m trying to visit more blogs. It is such a wonderful experience to go to other’s sites and read about their experiences. I get a lot of article ideas, like this one for instance. I visited a blog and she had 8 comments on an article and six of them were her own. hmmm. She’s supposed to be a pretty influential mom too. I just wonder about stats and why there is so much stock in them.

I have to remember an article I read at Mom Bloggers Club by Jennifer James saying that for every minute you waste tracking down your stats, that’s another minute you could have been using to make great content. Content takes care of itself.
I don’t leave very many comments on my own site. I do every now and then but hardly ever. I was just wondering what everyone else’s thoughts were?
