Surgery is in two days

My Surgery will be in two days so I’ll have some guest posts coming up for you. I didn’t get a very large amount of posts. So Mom Start will be slow starting on Thursday evening. I hope to get a few more things pre-scheduled tomorrow night.

Today I had my MOMS Club over so that I could have some company before I’m cooped up in my house. Sure, I have a list a mile long of things to get done before then but oh well. My house is a mess, my blog is unfinished, and I never put my Holiday Decor up. Hmmm.

It was so worth it though to have them over. I had a nice day of Mommy conversation and we played at the park after nap time with one of the moms and her children. My kids were adorable playing with hers.

THANKS DEBBIE!!!

I’m just letting everyone know where I’ll be.

((hugs)) The surgery will go great and you’ll have lots of support and prayers around here to make sure. I am the same way though. I really hate being poked and prodded as well. The dentist is like panick attack mode and I just can’t handle it. I nearly passed out trying to get a root canal done, it wasn’t pretty lol.

I had my hysterectomy in 1998 at the young age of 35. I was scared absolutely to death for many reason. The surgery itself scared me to no end. The after effect of the surgery left me almost paralyzed. I woke up after surgery and while I was uncomfortable I wasn’t in terrible pain and within a couple of weeks after surgery I felt like a new person. I do not regret in any way having the hysterectomy and when I look back now I welcomed what little discomfort I had as a result of the surgery in comparison to what I was going through before it. You will do fine and will be much happier on the other side when it is all over with!

I’m sorry you have to have a hysterectomy! Any surgery is scary. I too have endometriosis and have been treated for it starting at age 13 with my first hormones and 14 for my first surgery. I know the pain and it’s hard. My mom had a hysterectomy for it, are you have a total hysterectomy?

That anxiety is no fun. I get it for anything that happens to me. With my gall bladder I was shaking up to the point they gave me the anesthesia. I hope recovery is easier than expected!

Good luck! Try to let go of the worries. I always as for the “serenity to accept the things I cannot change.” Sometimes, it even works!

I had a hysterectomy done when I was 29, and the bit of pain post-surgery…was “worth it”, compared to the years of agony I’d had with periods…and pre-periods…and much of the time, in general.
Try not to worry…and focus on how much better life will be…without all the pain.

Good luck with your surgery–I know women who have done the same for Endo. and it really is helpful. I hope it is for you, as well!

Will be praying for you!! Same thing they did for my aunt who had it horribly as well… It will be OK, and you’ll feel SO MUCH BETTER when it’s all said and done! =)
