EcoSMART contacted me and requested that I review thier bug spray. I hate spiders and said sure send me something to use in my house. They sent me their Home Pest control for Indoor and outdoor use. I really don’t like it. It smells way to strong, and I suppose it’s my fault that I hate it.
I did not read the directions.
The bottle says this product is made from plant extracts that have a very strong smell (smells great (peppermint oil), but I can still smell the bug spray part and it was so strong I got a headache). Please test in a small area. Big clue there, I did not test in a small area I sprayed the entire downstairs. UGGG. It only took 24 hours to clear out.
I think it works great, I haven’t seen any spiders since then but I just can’t use it again inside the house. I think I can continue to use it on the outside perimeter of the house though. Not sure how good it will work in the rain though. That’s another problem with living in the Pacific Northwest.
They also want to give one bottle away to one of my readers. If you are interested in trying:

I read and learned that their blends of natural plant oils are every bit as effective as synthetic chemicals, killing bugs fast without any toxins or harmful residues.
EcoSMART was the first company to apply modern science to essential plant oils — creating the first 100% safe pesticides. Interesting!

Octopamine is a key insect neurotransmitter that regulates insect movement, behavior and metabolism. The blockage of the receptor activity prevents the transmission of the octopamine signals, which delivers quick knock down, kill and repellency against a wide variety of household pests such as cockroaches, ants, dust mites, flies, wasps, spiders, crickets, and fleas.
The natural oils they use work to block the bugs’ neurotransmitters, but they’re safe for pets (I guess unless your pet is a bug).
It is safe to use around children and pets.
