I think the first time I saw a copy of this was when I was walking down the book aisle at Target. I was thinking I should probably get this for my kids because they are going to have to do a report on this some day in school. President Obama is the first African American President, he hasn’t even completed his first year and office and he won the Nobel Peace Prize. I mean, this issue of Time for Kids came out before he won the Nobel Peace prize but it is still an interesting read.
The pictures are wonderful and I’m always up for seeing how Michelle has picked out the best outfits for her entire family. The President always looks super sharp as do both of her daughters. In A Day in the Life of America’s Leader you can ready how Barak Obama made it to the White House, Who helps Obama make the Tough Calls, and see behind the scenes with the family and inside the White House.
I am proud to be an American and feel that if I agree with all his platforms or not he is a good leader for this Country.
So I present to you:

Astro Boy
So Astro Boy is a robot, he is the perfect robot run on purely good unending energy. He came into being because Dr. Tenma lost his son Toby in a robot testing experiment. His grief led him to try to make the perfect replacement and he didn’t realize that it was a success because he didn’t really know his son. So he tells the robot you aren’t my son. It broke his heart because as far as he knew he was Toby. I was bawling, for a few reasons.
My family went out to eat tonight because we were running errands all day and I didn’t want to cook. I’m tired and need to take it easy until after I have surgery so we went out. My sister in law is visiting us so we total five.
