Welcome to Mom Start Saving, where moms can come and leave their link about the hard work they do saving money; and where other moms can find great deals.
Saving money can be a very lucrative way to make money when you have a family. You can get so many products for free or next to free if you hunt down the great deals. Even stores that I once never thought about shopping in like Rite Aid and Walgreens are gold minds of deals. Yes, if you buy things off of the right formula then it is very expensive to shop there.
So a lot of the moms that write about saving money know the formula. Look at the ads, play the grocery game, clip coupons, participate in rebates. I learned a lot from The Coupon Mom, but I don’t use her site. It may sound crazy but her site doesn’t work for me. I can save more money just figuring it out on my own or taking some ideas from some other blogs.
I was writing about the savings myself, but it took so much time and so many other moms do it all. I want to start bringing attention to those other moms by inviting them here where we can all comment on each other’s posts.
I’m also trying to get sponsors to make it a little more fun.

First thoughts…I’m loving the Amazon section. I’m always there hunting for deals and love how they have the discounts all put together by percentage and product category.

I have to agree with others, I love the Amazon section! I’m a huge fan of Amazon and shop there often, so having these deals at the click of a finger is perfect!
I appreciate that it has an expiring coupon section. Sometimes I forget that I might have a coupon for something and it is helpful to have a reminder of the end date for the additional savings.

Wow, there are a lot of stores/brands that they list. It’s nice to just go to one website instead of 10!
They certainly cover a lot of ground. There were a lot of stores I hadn’t heard of and I think it would take a long time to get through discovering everything they have there but it’s definitely thorough and worth the look when shopping!
I google store codes every once in awhile and it’s always so confusing-and overwhelming. This site is organized so well by category and alphabetically that I am definitely bookmarking it for future use! thanks for the heads up!
Looking at Coupon Trunk, there’s so much information that I didn’t know where to start. I do like the Expiring Coupons section so instead of looking at all the coupons, I would just look at that section to redeem them in time.

I don’t shop at most of the stores on the site, but I do shop at Amazon all the time, so I had fun peeking through the discounts there. I’m going to spend some more time there looking for discounted Christmas gifts, in fact.
I think it’s very cool. Has a ton of shops to choose from which is always nice.

I like that there is a alpha quick link at that top. The side bar with the company logos is not too cluttered so it is easy on the eyes.

My first impression is that I like the selection of articles. Always useful to know about databases of online coupons – I always like to check sites like this before making online purchases, just in case I can save a little extra! Thank you for the giveaway!

I am a mom, and I dig all the time to find deals. Coupon truck has so many! Especially when you don’t have much money, like me. I think this contest is a great idea!
I love how it is organized. I general search the web for coupon codes and deals but this is a one stop solution to that!

That web site (I’m being honest here) make my eyes bleed. All the columns, all the text, and I couldn’t figure out what the point was. Clearly I was visually overstimulated and I wanted out of that site as soon as possible. *sigh* I’m a fail.

I like discounts but want store discount, not online, Are there any I didn’t find? Everything I clicked on was online retailer. Amazon made no sense to me. But if I could figure it out, I would probably look for their discounts.

I am loving the crocs coupon. Since we live in warm weather we LOVE these shoes!
First impression, it was all online shopping – which could be useful every now and again, I would have to delve a little deeper to get some good deals. But most of these stores put those promos on banners right at top of their stores. So if you are a regular at these stores – you already know their discounts. – honest opinion.
