Cuisinart contacted me and asked me to do a review of the Cuisinart Water Filtration System and I didn’t think there was anything with my water. Later after I had already told the company no, my husband said,

“I want to get a new water filter”.

Grrr.

I currently use my Keurig machine for all of that and I think the Cuisinart Water filter is much more suited for such tasks.

(this is the kicker, I didn’t realize it didn’t need to be refrigerated. I looked at it and thought I can’t fit that in my fridge so I don’t want it. Maybe next time I’ll read the description better before I pass up on a review)

Performance:

One of the signature benefits of the Cuisinart filtration system is that the unit’s GF-80 filter significantly reduces contaminants such as lead, mercury and copper, as well as the taste and odor of chlorine. The filter has a life of three months for average household use and is certified by the Water Quality Association.

Cuisinart’s WCH-1500 filtration system joins a 1.5-gallon capacity unit (WCH-1000) from the company that dispenses cold or room temperature water from a single fast flow spigot.
