Hi, my name is Mindy, and I am a teacher and researcher at the University of Mary Washington, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am researching attitudes about mothering with my colleague Miriam Liss.

Bravado Designs is launching an information arm called the Bravado Breastfeeding Information Council (BBIC) on November 10th, which will serve as a resource to the media, including non-traditional outlets (like yourself!), that both authoritatively communicate to and influence women, to provide accurate and non-judgmental information, statistics and trends on a regular basis in order to educate the public at large as well as to support a positive breastfeeding experience for women in North America.

Talk about a mouthful! As part of this launch we will be releasing findings from our database of over 80,000 women. However, we’re looking to get one more survey out before then and try and to hear from as many women as possible, across as many different backgrounds as possible to give every mother a voice.
