Chocolate Love Story Review a real donation and #giveaway

October 31, 2009 · Filed Under christmasguide, giveaway

9780316056625_154X233 Chocolate A Love Story is sitting on my kitchen counter just waiting to be used. I love chocolate. Love it love it love it. I had to look at the photos, now the weird thing is that it is like it’s from the 1960’s. The photos make me smile but everything just makes me want more chocolate. I know it would make a great coffee table book or bathroom book that people just love to look at. I looked at the recipes and they all look simple enough to try except for the ones that I have no idea how to make them, like a brioche. One of the recipes that I really need to try is Veg-out chocolate cornflake TV wraps. Oh man the calories that are in this book.

Chocolate: A Love Story: 65 Chocolate Dessert Recipes from Max Brenner’s Private Collection

I expected the “locations” to be stores- a few of us did a “chocolate tour” the other year in NYC. However, apparently it’s a restaurant. I’m surprised I’d never heard of Max Brenner- I worked for 9yrs at a major chocolate/candy company and thought I was familiar with a lot of the names. Guess not. :)
