I’m still not very concerned with looking old. Perhaps I should be more concerned because I’m not going to look young forever. I will admit that I have good genes and that my mom is complimented all the time on not looking old enough to have a almost 30 year old daughter. I’m 29 if you must know. Even still, I need to take better care of my skin.
I’m a giveaway junkie and anytime I have the opportunity to host a giveaway for my readers then I’ll more than likely say yes. I do have one sitting in my e-mail box that I’m still trying to decide if I want to do or not. I’ll spill the details later. Anyways, Perricone Skincare contacted me and asked me to host a giveaway for them. All I have to do is link to:
Why?
Because Perricone is a producer of an anti aging cosmeceuticals. They use olive oil because olive oil polyphenols are important anti-oxidants found in highest extra virgin olive oil. Everyday facial cleansers have the tendency to strip away the natural oils of the skin and create rough, dehydrated surface. These oils are vital for its protection and health. Olive oil facial cleansers effectively cleanse the skin without removing these precious oils, allowing for the ultimate in balanced cleansing. Olive oil is also a gentle, natural, nonirritating ingredient that does its job without upsetting skin’s natural balance.
You can win:
Perricone MD Gentle Cleanser. This gentle and nourishing cleanser is ideal for all skin types. It removes all surface debris including make-up while delivering anti-aging benefits. It sells for 35.00

I’ve use other brands of Olive Oil Cleansers and loved them. Have not tried the Perricone brand yet.
I have heard amazing things about using Olive Oil and have been dying to try it out
I don’t know what to think, but I’m more than willing to give it a try.
For me, I would be a little nervous as I have combination skin. However, I know my teens would love it as the are always trying facial cleansers/moisturizers remedies. Several of them actually include olive oil.
Olive oil as a cleanser, is an amazing idea. I would love to try it, like the idea that it doesn’t clog the pours
I’d never heard of using olive oil as a cleanser.

i’d love an oil based cleanser – it wont suck all the moisture out of your face, but it will get it cleaned

its a neat idea, i have never personally used it as a cleaner, maybe i will try it one day.
The idea of olive oil as a cleanser is interesting, I guess it’s good for moisturizing your skin!

I am in the process of reading “The Green Beauty Guide” and the author really sings the praises of using olive oil–so I’m curious to try and see how big of a difference it makes!

I think its marvelous. I love olive oil on my skin.
Sounds like an interesting idea to me. I know years ago women used crisco as a facial moisturizer and had beautiful skin. Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
