Yes I was extremely lucky to be able to review this new printer the Epson Stylus NX515. Epson sent me the printer while I was in Texas to review. I fell in love with it while I was setting it up but I already promised to let my parents keep it.

My Process
I opened the box, I took it out. I briefly looked at the directions. Because I thought I read that it was wireless. I wasn’t entirely sure what that meant so I looked to see that I didn’t have to plug it into any computer or network. I mean it doesn’t even come with cables but as I remember printers do not usually come with cables anyways.
I turned it on and plugged it into the outlet for power. Reverse that.
I went into the settings and into network then I found my dad’s network and connected. It was that easy.
I was so excited at how easy it was. Then I installed the printer on all of the computers and there weren’t any problems there either. There is a disk if you need it and the directions that come with the printer are very easy to follow.
You do have other options:
Epson offers three ways to link the printer up to a computer:
direct using USB 2.0,
wired Ethernet,
and 802.11b/g cord-free Wi-Fi. (the process I described above)
The printer is quiet and prints well. I didn’t use it enough to determine what the ink usage is and they sent us some extra ink so I don’t even know how much the ink costs. I just know I love that printer now. It’s a reasonable price.
Beginning Sunday, Sept. 20, the NX515 will be sold at an even lower price – $129.99 MSRP.
With all the amazing features the Stylus NX515 offers, including built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet capabilities, black text speeds up to two times faster than the competition, a 2.5” tilt LCD screen, one-touch copying, and instant-drying inks, consumers are getting even more bang for their buck with the lower price.
I printed off some photos of my kids before I left. Grandma is already on my case about sending her some more photos digitally so she can print them on her new printer. It takes all kinds of different memory cards. You just plug them in and print. I know most of you are probably familiar with that already but it’s a new feature compared to what I’m using at my house.
Epson includes a media card reader and PictBridge compatible USB port in the bottom-left corner next to the output tray, with slots for xD, SD, and MemoryStick Pro, as well as a longer slot for CompactFlash cards.
I don’t think it’s fast enough for my husband but for normal people it’s great. Oh and it scans and copies. I used it to copy a few old photos that I wanted to take with me and my stepmom wanted to keep. They were given to me so I guess you could say I made copies for her.
I love how it looks to. It’s sleek and black and beautiful. I love technology, if only I didn’t give it to my parents. Oh man!

Wow very nice! It’s a good price as well. I JUST got a new printer too or I’d have to check it out!
That sounds neat! I just got a new printer/scanner/copier already and wish I had seen this review before I bought mine!
Sounds like an awesome printer! That was nice of you to give it to your parents – they must be loving it!
