Good Grief!
I made a big mistake when I left my house before wrapping up all my reviews. Here is another DVD that was on my porch after I left. My husband told me about it as soon as it appeared but since I didn’t get to see then and watch them with my daughter, who loves Sid the Science Kid by the way; I forgot to host the giveaway. So before all of the giveaway copies are gone, I wanted to go ahead and invite you to enter to win two DVD’s.

I watch Sid the Science Kid on PBS with the grandsons. The songs are catchy and cute. Makes the grandsons feel good about being curious about things around them.

Holt is three and he just loves the show. I like it because it teaches him things.

We don’t have any form of cable, satellite, or antennae reception at the house we just moved to, but my daughter did catch Sid the Science guy once at our old house and was very interested in it. I’d love to win this because all we are able to watch is DVDs and we’d love some new ones!
I don’t know much about Sid but I do know that since it’s made by the Jim Henson’s Muppet company it can’t be too bad!
My local library was giving out Sid stickers recently so apparently it is pretty educational–you’d think so anyway if a library was bothering to promote it!

My son loves Sid the Science Kid. He likes to sing “My mom is cool, uh huh, I love my mom, uh huh” from the show. Adorable!
I like how they are always discovering new things and the kids like the jokes, music and dancing
Sid the Science Kid is an educational series which fills a gap in preschool programming, which has more often tended to focus on developing kids’ readiness for reading and math

My daughter likes this show. I like it too because it is “modern” (for lack of a better word). Whenever Sid asks his mom a question she doesn’t know the answer to, she looks it up on the Internet. I like how gender roles are non-traditional and that their family is multi-racial.
Our grandchildren enjoy these shows.
