New Food Network Show – What would Brian Boitano Make?

Brian Boitano can cook? First off, how many men do you know that cook? I know my husband does but I always thought I was one of the lucky few. So this very cute ice skater cooks and now he’s going to show America what he can cook?

I have to see this. I think he has a great personality and maybe I’m biased because I absolutely love figure skating. I’ve been watching him forever, now I still get to watch him just in a different venue. I think my head is spinning a triple axel or double lutz.

 

 

Everyone knows Olympic figure skater Brian Boitano is a champion on the ice; but he also gives a gold medal performance in the kitchen! In the new daytime series, What Would Brian Boitano Make?, Brian demonstrates his culinary skills and passion for one-of-a-kind entertaining. In every unpredictable episode, Brian hosts get-togethers at his San Francisco home: feeding an all-girl roller derby squad, playing matchmaker for a friend, winning over his handyman’s supper club, and planning a surprise party celebrating new motherhood. With a humorous and knowledgeable approach to cooking, Brian puts his unique spin on irresistible dishes like Chicken Paella Burgers, Pear and Almond Crostata, Crab and Avocado Crostini, and Bourbon Bacon Apple Tarts.

Premieres: Sunday, August 23rd at 1pm – SERIES PREMIERE!

He’s going to start off with and episode called “Derby Girls” and you can guess it’s full of an all girl team of roller derby. The team has a dinner party and he creates recipes from their favorite ingredient.

This weekend at Kmart they are having tons of sizzling summer blue light specials. All you have to do to participate in this exciting sales event is visit your local Kmart and wait for the blue light special to be announced.

Each sale is going to depend on quantity and location so i can’t give out any specifics. All I know is this Friday, July 17 through Sunday, July 19 specials will be running regular Kmart shoppers in circles around the store.

Out of Power for three hours and I had no idea what to do

So the electricity went out last night at seven after I put the kids down to bed. I think there must have been a pop or something that scared my daughter because my bath was shortened to the sound of tears. I rushed to get out of my bed and went to console her. Her white noise was off. She went back to sleep after she calmed down and I went on a search for my cell phone. I am addicted to checking my e-mail. If I can’t do it on my computer then I check it on my cell.

I went from room to room and couldn’t find it. I looked for a flashlight because it was starting to get darker and darker. I could not find a flashlight. I was at a loss. What do I do with now power and no light. My husband was working late and tried to call me but you can’t answer the phone when you don’t hear it ring or have no idea where it is.

So, I went to bed.

Going to bed early never works, why, because I wake up at midnight and feel like I slept a full night’s sleep. Then two hours later, I’m exhausted. When I work up this morning I was so tired I had no idea how I was going to get through the day. Let, alone, I still had no idea where my cell phone was. The good news being that the power had been restored at midnight when I awoke. I e-mailed my husband and he came home from work to help me find my cell phone.

He found my cell phone in the van this morning before he went to work. All this being said, I don’t think I could survive without my technology. I’m getting a new phone from Microsoft and Sprint today. My little man took his first three steps last night

I’m so proud of him. Last night before bed time I stood him up in the middle of his room and he stayed there. I needed to put clean sheets on his crib.  He was looking at me and I was looking at him and I said I’ll be right back, then before I took my eyes off of him he took three steps. I’m one proud mommy.

Munchkin Wet Wheels #giveaway

Munchkin loves my family and we love them. Do you remember when I wrote about how many different products we use from Munchkin? Now we can add two more products to the list. Three if you count the stickers that come with their products. This morning my daughter has been having sticker fun and coloring. I love her artistic flair. She’s just like me.

She grabs her crayons in the color order she wants. She puts her paper down and thinks about where to add each color and what kind of scribbly line goes Multi Bowlswhere. It’s an amazing process and now she adds stickers.`
