Aloha Friday Time

alohafriday5 Kailani says “In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response”. You should go to Kailani’s site and link up with Mr. Linky, but be sure and answer her question.

My Question:

Do you ever feel overbooked?

I currently feel overbooked with my blog right now. I have so many reviews due and I don’t feel like doing any of them today. I hope I feel like writing tomorrow night. I know some families feel this way with their kids so what kind of overbooking do you have?

i never feel like i can get everything done that i need to do. and then i get like you are feeling and just don’t want to do any of it.

sometimes you do just need to take a little break so you can get back at it.

try to have a relaxing weekend! :)

  14. Audrey says:

Yes, I’ve felt overbooked many times.

A suggestion on the reviews…there are days we feel like writing and days we don’t. If you have a day you feel like writing, write 3 or 4 posts and hold the drafts for the next several days.

  20. Yes! All the time. Even when I don’t overbook us we are overbooked. I would love more simplicity.

Oh yes and if I didn’t I would definitely soon. In the fall I will be a single mom, taking ASL, working full time as a registered nurse in a psychiatric hospital, a Scentsy consultant, and blogging!

I try so hard to not become overbooked/overwhelmed. I try to just get done what needs to get done and do the rest when I actually have free time (I got back from a trip Tuesday night and still haven’t unpacked lol)

Being pregnant with a currently breed baby and having gestational diabetes (so they say) too. I am 35 weeks along and I have 3 doctors appointments a week – one with the midwife, one with the dietitian, and one with an acupunturist. I have a two year who I stay involved with in my MOMS Club and at Great Play. And thanks to my toddler we are invited to parties every weekend for birthdays. My evenings are filled with volunteer work as I am president of my MOMS Club chapter and vice president of my son’s toddler group. Since I am a stay-at-home mom my job discription also includes cleaning the house, doing the laundry, and making dinner …

  24. kailani says:

Not lately. However, I’m sure I’ll begin to feel overwhelmed again once this baby is born.
