Kailani says “In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response”. You should go to Kailani’s site and link up with Mr. Linky, but be sure and answer her question.
My Question:
Have you ever been star struck?
I was in Chicago on Wednesday this week meeting some of the best bloggers in fashion and mommy hood. I also met the design team from Sears Holding Corporation. I was completely star struck. I felt like a little newbie among the pros. Here’s who I met.
Liz from CoolMomPicks
Tanya from Mommy Goggles
Amanda from Mommy Mandy
Gabrielle from DesignMom
Miranda from KeeperOfTheCheerios
Paul from TheSmartStylist
Jennifer from TheMomSalon
Stacy from MomCentral
Erica from 5MinutesForMom
Janel from ApartmentTherapy Chicago
Piera from JollyMom
Christine from FromDatesToDiapers
Stephanie from AdventuresInBabyWearing
Felicia from GoGrahamGo
Lori from ACowboysWife
And from SHC:
and a whole other cast of characters that I will introduce you to as I have time, but it was amazing. They are all just people and knowledgeable and helpful. I learned so much about Kmart, Sears and social media.

I haven’t had much of a chance to be star struck. I got an autograph once from my favorite baseball player, Paul Molitor, that is about as close as I can come.

LOL I was so star struck too! Lori from a Cowboy’s Wife was laughing at me because I was totally in awe. How often does one get to be in a room with all of those amazing bloggers? I felt nervous all day long!
I’d have to say, no. I can’t even think of anyone I’d particularly like to meet. There are pretty amazing people everywhere.
I love me some John Travolta!!!!
I have never been star struck.
very interesting!
well, i dont think so..
No but I would like to be star struck by Bono or The Edge, Adam Clayton or Larry Mullen Jr.
LOL-I felt exactly the same way! ; )
I had a great time though and I am very happy to have met you!
Nope, never. There are people that would be interesting to meet however I’ve never been star struck in my life.
No…can’t say that I have ever been star struck. Yet, anyway.
No, no star strucking going on here!
I haven’t encountered any stars in a while. I went to LA back in ’04. My sis and I ran into Adam Brody from the tv show O.C. We were too chicken to go up and ask for an autograph. Then walking down Wilshire we saw Jennifer Aniston in her Mercedes. She stopped at a red light and we ran down the sidewalk to see her. She took off. Have a wonderful weekend and take care/-.

My husband use to play golf with an extremely HUGE! celebrity- I’m talking world wide notoriety. I loved the fact that this person was just a regular guy wanting to play a round of golf when he could. He even took time out to play with my baby when I tagged along. This guy is VERY famous too

I absolutely felt like this as well. It was interesting how when we got there nerves died down though.
When I was really little I met several famous people and it never really hit me. Later in college I was definitely star stuck when an NHL hockey player moved in across the street from my parents and his friends came over often.
People I would like to talk to or take a picture with…sure.
Starstruck…scream and cry and pass out at the mere sight of someone…no.
I have never been starstruck before, but I am generally shy when meeting anyone for the first time!
Yes, several times, but nothing too major. My husband is always the one saying “let’s go talk to him/her!!”, or “Take a picture!!”.
No I’ve never been star struck. I’m removed from anything flocking. Call me cool, calm and too reserved.
I’m glad you had a fabulous time meeting other fellow bloggers.
Yeah I have. When I went to my cousin’s wedding I knew there were going to be a famous person there. I used to love watching Days of Our Lives and “Marlena” was one of my favorite character. I met Deirde Hall’s real life twin sister Andrea. Andrea started out as her twin sister Samantha on Days. She went on later to play Hattie. Her husband was my mom’s brothers best friend. I was so star struck. I took her napkin from the wedding and kept it.
Oops I forgot my blog! lol
Nope, I’ve never really been star stuck (nor had much of an occasion to be), but I would love to meet all of those bloggers! Sounds like loads of fun!
Sorry about the plane ride…blech.
In my early teen years my wall was plastered with star pics. But I have grown up and now know they are the same as you or I.
Nope can’t say that I have. Thanks for stopping by my playground. Much appreciated
Aloha
When I was a teenager, I was very star struck by several of my favorite soap stars. But not really since then.
