Walgreens is a great store to find bargains, pick up prescriptions and use coupons. I recently saved 20.00 and spent 12.00. They are also working on helping families save by having clinics you can take your family to for health care. I wrote about it a month ago here.
Take Care Clinics are offering half-priced camp physicals ($30) for a limited time and free tips for staying healthy so that summer ailments and injuries can be prevented – these exams help to determine if a patient is able to safely participate in typical camp activities and include a complete review of the child’s health history and immunizations to ensure that they are up to date.
In Honor of their program they are sponsoring a giveaway.

I think it is great! Doctors offices are becoming more and more crowded and it takes weeks to get an appointment. I would love to go here and get it done quickly and hopefully painlessly
great giveaway! Thanks!

What a great help for so many people that have lost their jobs! I wish more companies would follow Walgreen’s example and provide help for everyone that is struggling right now.
we have a new walgreens near us, thank you
For more minor problems this would be great especially for those without insurance coverage. There is not one at my local Walgreens however.
None anywhere near me, which doesn’t surprise me, think its great though.
I think all help is appreciated nowadays. We have a new Walgreens near us.
I think it’s a great idea. Nobody should be denied medical care.

Sounds so useful and wonderful. I’m going to make sure there’s one close to us, just in case we need to run there one day!

It looks like it could be a useful resource, but not a substitute for a long term connection to a primary care physician.
Seems very interesting. Definitely something I’m willing to try out because of the convenience it brings.
I can’t believe they accept so many insurances.
how convieient, I think it’s a great idea.
We shop at Walgreens for most of our medical supplies. The fact they have a website to help us out when we come to a situation that we need answers is the best!
Thanks for the Great Giveaway

I have always shopped at Walgreens and when I first read about their new program I was so proud to be a Walgreens shopper. Health Care should be available to everyone!
This is a great idea. Walgreen’s are all over my town, so even if they have only a few of these clinics, one should be conveniently close by. It makes much more snese than paying a premium when something isn’t serious or deadly, but nevertheless needs a prescription or the care of a professional.

I think their site is user friendly!
Clean and professional website. User-friendly. Great PR including that they will continue to treat patients that have lost their jobs for the remainder of the year!

I think it’s great that they’re helping out people who can’t afford health insurance, but obviously it’s not going to cover everything.
Will prevent unnecessary visits to the ER!
I hope this helps people who don’t have emergencies stay out of the ER and improves access for everyone! I think it’s a great idea!
