Walgreens Take Care Clinic #giveaway

Walgreens is a great store to find bargains, pick up prescriptions and use coupons. I recently saved 20.00 and spent 12.00. They are also working on helping families save by having clinics you can take your family to for health care. I wrote about it a month ago here.

j0430503Take Care Clinics are offering half-priced camp physicals ($30) for a limited time and free tips for staying healthy so that summer ailments and injuries can be prevented – these exams help to determine if a patient is able to safely participate in typical camp activities and include a complete review of the child’s health history and immunizations to ensure that they are up to date.

In Honor of their program they are sponsoring a giveaway.

I think it is great! Doctors offices are becoming more and more crowded and it takes weeks to get an appointment. I would love to go here and get it done quickly and hopefully painlessly :) great giveaway! Thanks!

What a great help for so many people that have lost their jobs! I wish more companies would follow Walgreen’s example and provide help for everyone that is struggling right now.

It looks like it could be a useful resource, but not a substitute for a long term connection to a primary care physician.

  23. Karen says:

Seems very interesting. Definitely something I’m willing to try out because of the convenience it brings.

We shop at Walgreens for most of our medical supplies. The fact they have a website to help us out when we come to a situation that we need answers is the best!

  27. Heather says:

I have always shopped at Walgreens and when I first read about their new program I was so proud to be a Walgreens shopper. Health Care should be available to everyone!

  28. Ryan says:

This is a great idea. Walgreen’s are all over my town, so even if they have only a few of these clinics, one should be conveniently close by. It makes much more snese than paying a premium when something isn’t serious or deadly, but nevertheless needs a prescription or the care of a professional.
