Walgreens is a great store to find bargains, pick up prescriptions and use coupons. I recently saved 20.00 and spent 12.00. They are also working on helping families save by having clinics you can take your family to for health care. I wrote about it a month ago here.
Take Care Clinics are offering half-priced camp physicals ($30) for a limited time and free tips for staying healthy so that summer ailments and injuries can be prevented – these exams help to determine if a patient is able to safely participate in typical camp activities and include a complete review of the child’s health history and immunizations to ensure that they are up to date.
In Honor of their program they are sponsoring a giveaway.

I think they’re great, I don’t have insurance and they treat me excellently and they are much cheaper than having to foot the bill at a Dr.’s office
I think these Take Care Clinics sound wonderful! Expectually since I’m uninsured its always nice to know there are cheaper options, unfortantly there not in my area yet, but I hope they decide to! Thanks for the chance.

i think its great! makes healthcare options cheaper
I think the Take Care Clinic is a great idea and very helpful.
I love these! I wish there were one near me, though!
You know, with the economy really taking a dive, and families who were once very secure now fearing for the loss of their jobs, I think it is stellar of Walgreens to be involved in such a project. I loved the website.
This looks so convenient! Much easier than trying to get my son into Urgent Care at his pediatrician, where we inevitably have to wait for at least an hour.
I think this is great-My son gets ear infections alot and our doctor is 45 minutes away and not open on weekends. It would be great to be able to run over to walmart to get it taken care of.

Great for individuals that do not have insurance and it is not a life/death situation.
This is a fantastic thing! Less stress on doctors and ERs means they can get on with treating serious cases and less dealing with trivial ailments!
I’ve visited one this week and last week – I only waited for 10 minutes to see a nurse practitioner! Very efficient.

A very great idea!! Sorta reminds me of when I was a kid and my parents were missionaries in Mexico…you could go to the pharmacy and see a doctor right there for minor things, pick up the meds you needed, and head straight home to bed to recover!!
I generally like the idea. It’s low cost health care, and hopefully will cut out some of the hassle.
Great idea. Anything that helps with access to care is awesome!
