My Daughter’s first Hair cut, she looks so grown up

My lovely daughter hates getting her hair done. She hates letting me wash it. She hates letting me brush it. She hates letting me put it up in pig tails or in a hair bow. I was so worried that her first hair cut was going to be a nightmare. We went to a friend’s house and she did my hair first and then did Zoe’s and then did Miles. It was amazing.

My daughter was sitting there saying..I get my hair cut and she was so proud.

Now she has bangs and a little flip in the back it. I adore her hair now. Zoe you are a beautiful princess.

I never imagined that Miles would have handled it either though.

We did have to strap him down and he squirmed the whole time but look at his curls. He has the cutest curls that I ever did see. We love his red hair too even though we’re at a loss at where he got it.

I’m a size 8 so you know about how sizing runs. It’s orange, colorful and soft. I love the length of the shirt because it covers my tummy that I still have from when I gave birth. John Frieda Root Awakening Sample and Coupon #Giveaway

WOW what a treat. I am a buzz agent and I finally was picked for a buzz campaign. It took me months of waiting that I actually gave up. Then out of the blue it happened and what a treat it was.

John Frieda came out with Root Awakening. It smells natural and relaxing. It’s refreshing and the conditioner is even more. It’s probably in my mind that I expect it to tingle but the conditioner leaves my scalp with a slight buzz of wonder and awe. A friend even noticed a difference in my hair when she saw me after I used this for the first time.

It is safe to use on color-treated hair. It is made to purify and stimulate the scalp and roots. It is supposed to make your hair 3x stronger, healthier and resilient. The formula includes natural Eucalyptus and essential oils. The product says it actually makes you tingle. The shampoo doesn’t but the conditioner does (at least in my experience).

The Next Food Network Star is on tonight.

The Next Food Network Star is in it’s fifth season and it started last weekend 9pm ET/PT. Oh my goodness it hit record numbers last week. It was the highest rated season premiere in the history of Food Network. More people watched this episode cumulatively, premiere and encore airings, than last year with 4.5 million total viewers 2+ (up 22 percent versus season four), 2.4 million adults 25-54 (up 9 percent), 2.3 million persons 18-49 (up 15 percent) and 3.3 million households (up 22 percent) tuning in.

Jen Isham was the first to be sent home. She believes that no one in her age group is represented on the Food Network. I disagree with her. I’m 29 and I like a lot of the chefs. Her food specialty is crowd pleasing dinners that don’t break the budget. Who doesn’t consider this when they are cooking now days?

Tune in tonight to see who goes home next. I wish the episodes were on-line so I could watch them. I don’t have cable!!! My husband and I love this show. GRRRRR.

The Series Premier of Wedding Day on TNT

The “We Know Drama” team has come up with a new idea for a reality TV show, Wedding Day. Actually, in my opinion it’s been there done that, with a twist. I’ve never seen it come together so quickly before. It’s almost like ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover meets TLC’s Wedding Story. You get a heart felt story and the reward is a wedding of dreams. Be careful watching it you might have tears in your eyes.

“Holli & Steve” – Premieres Tuesday, June 16, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT)

Just four days before his wedding day in 2007, Steve received a call that his bride-to-be, Holli, had been injured in a near-fatal car crash and had only a 50% chance of surviving. After six days in a coma, she finally came to, but every day since then has been a struggle to withstand the long, painful road to recovery. Holli and Steve’s walk down the aisle includes a New York shopping spree, a Badgley-Mishka wedding dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes. The couple even gets to enjoy a special performance by Boyz II Men, who were moved when they heard Holli and Steve’s story.
