I was sent some Sambucol samples to try and have the opportunity to give some away. I am not a medical profession and will not endorse the power of the product. My Opinion:

Mine arrived fully charged so I was able to use it right out of the box. It did say in the directions though that you need to charge for 24 hours before using. Both my unit and the unit that I’m giving away have the same rechargeable base. It’s so nice that we don’t have to go through batteries.

The Clarisonic brush has a nice smooth pulse that feels great to me. I actually noticed a difference in my face after using it twice. A friend of mine said she noticed a difference using hers after four weeks. I think I just noticed my face looked brighter (I’m hesitant to say younger but that was my first thought) I’m not making any claims for this company, I’m just giving you my crazy opinion for whatever it’s worth.

I’m terrible about washing my face regularly so having this brush helps me to remember, because I actually enjoy doing it.

I came home last week from a day out with my kids and there was a box on my porch. I immediately knew they were flowers and I knew they were not from my husband. Hmmm

I wasn’t sure what to do. I thought, they must have something to do with my blog. So I grabbed a vase and cut the stems and put them in some water. They were very vibrant with color, but I just couldn’t remember anything to do with them.

They are very nice flowers. They also came with Hint Cards. As I was looking over the hint cards I thought to myself maybe this was what I was expecting. I still wasn’t sure. So I had to check my e-mail and yes, the Hint cards were sent to me from the Family Review Network and California Cut Flower Commission.

Once I figured that out, I took some pictures:

My Husband’s Opinion:

He came home from work and said “did you use something different on the kids today?” Hesitantly I said yes.

He said, it’s not bad. Which for him means it doesn’t stink. I’ve tried things before on the kids and he says that stinks don’t use that again. So Kiss My Face has his approval.

My Opinion:

I love the orange smell. It makes me think of orange cream and vanilla. Yumm. I just want to eat my kids after bath time. I love to rest my head on theirs an inhale. Bubbles aren’t the most bubbly, but I’m bubble picky. They smell great! The soap is fun for my two year old. She likes having her own soap to be like mommy and daddy to wash her hands. Shampoo leaves their hair shiny. It’s a great product line. As I try to become more green and learn more about using less chemicals I need products like these to change over. It is very difficult to switch, but I want my kids to be healthy and around fewer chemicals.

The Big Eye Dummies #Giveaway

Slicka came to our house last week and my daughter wanted to open her up. I told her “that’s a donation for Bloggers Give”. It being purple her favorite color and her being only two it didn’t make any sense to her. My husband told me to be able to write a good review I needed to let her play with it first. So two against one, I gave in and opened it to let her play with it.

The Big Eye Dummies are a colorful cast of characters with magnetic eyes and mouth. It says it’s for two and up and the only reason I can figure it says that for is because on of the eyes could be stuffed down a child’s mouth, but hardly. I can’t see my one year old doing that.

My daughter likes stuffing toys down her shirt so she took all the pieces down her shirt and then laughed. She said “where’d it go”? I told her she was being silly and I helped her find them. She laughed again and played with Slicka some more.
