Clairsonic Skin Care Brush in Graphite Grey #Giveaway

June 9, 2009 · Filed Under giveaway

 Clarisonic Wave (1)

Clairsonic contacted me and asked me to do a review and giveaway in honor of Father’s Day. I wanted to make sure that I did a great job reviewing it so I didn’t get the giveaway up in time for the Father’s Day Event. I got the female one, although, I think it would be fine for a man or a woman.

About Clarisonic:

Holder

Clarisonic Skin Care recognizes that men are just as discerning about their grooming products as women are. Created by the inventor of the Sonicare toothbrush, the Clarisonic uses sonic technology and works with the skin’s natural elasticity to unclog pores for deeper cleansing without stripping the skin. Using the Clarisonic prior to shaving will open pores and give your man the closest shave of his life. The launch of their men’s Graphite Gray Clarisonic for Father’s Day in 2008 was so successful that they made it a permanent part of the line. Tinseltown A-listers like Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman and Justin Timberlake have also made Clarisonic part of their grooming routine.
CLARISONIC Skin Care System is the first sonic oscillation face brush that deeply cleanses, stimulates and clarifies the skin. Using any nonabrasive facial cleanser, CLARISONIC works to cleanse skin more thoroughly than manual washing. With its easy usage and waterproof design, no additional time is added to the beauty regimen and it can safely be used in the shower.

Scientific studies have measured Clarisonic’s extraordinary results:
· Cleans twice as effectively as manual cleansing and removes six times more makeup than traditional cleansing
· After eight weeks, study participants reported:
       Healthier skin, 83%
       Fewer blemishes, 70%
       Fewer dry patches, 69%
Decreased appearance of pore size, 68%
       Softer skin, 94%
· Effective pre-treatment cleansing for in-office dermatology and plastic surgery procedures
· Through deep cleansing, the Clarisonic increases absorption of topical Vitamin C by up to 61% into the epidermis (compared with manual cleansing)
· Allows for deep cleansing of the pores and skin surface, yet is gentle enough for everyday use at home including for those patients with skin conditions such as acne, seborrhea, eczema and psoriasis

This information was taken from the Clarisonic Website. Be sure to do your own research or consult with a doctor before making medical decisions.

Clarisonic mens shaving kit

My Opinion:

Mine arrived fully charged so I was able to use it right out of the box. It did say in the directions though that you need to charge for 24 hours before using. Both my unit and the unit that I’m giving away have the same rechargeable base. It’s so nice that we don’t have to go through batteries.

The Clarisonic brush has a nice smooth pulse that feels great to me. I actually noticed a difference in my face after using it twice. A friend of mine said she noticed a difference using hers after four weeks. I think I just noticed my face looked brighter (I’m hesitant to say younger but that was my first thought) I’m not making any claims for this company, I’m just giving you my crazy opinion for whatever it’s worth.

I’m terrible about washing my face regularly so having this brush helps me to remember, because I actually enjoy doing it.

Im sure this would be really helpful because after a long day or night out, i usually dread washing my face because it takes so long to get everything off… And I dont even use that much make up!

When I was a child, no one was ever concerned with sun damage. We used to sit out with baby oil on our skin to get any color, even if it was a sunburn. Now I am battling the effects many years later. By using the CLARISONIC it would help to exfoliate the skin and allow the moisturizers & serums to penetrate the skin better. I love the fact that it will help my pricey creams to actually do their job. I try as many things as I can to help stay younger looking. Battling the sun damage and wrinkles that have begun to surface is an ongoing battle. The CLARISONIC would be a fantastic addition to my arsenal.

I had no idea that this product can reduce wrinkles and fine lines – I always associated it with softening and smoothing the skin. I’m encouraged this product will help me reduce frown lines and crow’s feet. Thx.

I thought it was interesting that by using it your skin will better absorb other products and vitamin c. I love that it reduces pore size!

  540. Susan Smith on June 24th, 2009 7:33 am

I learned it takes 6X more makeup off!

  541. Pamela S on June 24th, 2009 7:41 am

As I’ve aged, my skin has become quite “dull” and my pores are much more noticeable. So I thought it was interesting that by cleaning the surface of your skin thoroughly, it makes your skin more ready to absorb whatever products you put on. That would be a great help. THanks.

  542. Wendy on June 24th, 2009 7:41 am

I have lived with problem skin my whole life, I thought for sure that as I aged it would get better, NOT!

I have very large pores, I like the idea that it
helps reduce the appearance of pores. I would love to give this product a try.

What I find most interesting from visiting the Clarisonic website is that the Clarisonic cleans your skin so effectively that it actually prepares the skin to better absorb skin care products, and allows them to have a chance to work the way they should. This is so key, why bother applying expensive skin care products to your skin if you are not going to get the full benefits from them. I loved learning that the Clarisonic insures that you do indeed get the full potential from your skin care products. Thanks so much for the chance to enter.

I took a look at the website and I really love that the brush has a rechargeable base. I hate having to buy batteries all of the time. The rechargeable base makes this product more appealing to me, when compared to products that one would have to buy batteries for all the time.
