So I’m a little bit late in posting this but I found out that BobEvans.com had a coupon for a free piece of pie for Mother’s Day.

My husband has been asking me to buy him some lotion. I have been forgetting for forever. His hands are so dry. Belli Skincare sent me a full bottle of Nourish Me Enriched Body lotion. I tried it, it smells sweat, but not too strong. Now my husband being the man he is took one look at the bottle and said “I’m not using that crap”. Well, when I wasn’t looking he gave it a try and he said “that stuff isn’t so bad”. So he’s been using it ever since. I have found his hands are no longer dry. It will probably last both of us a long time because a little seems to go a long way, and we only use it as needed.

Asked out for a date … by a bird

My family and I went to the Cougar Mountain Zoo to feed the animals. This is a smaller more expensive zoo but they are completely non-profit and all the money goes back into the zoo.

I love going because you can feed the animals. When you feed the alpacas it tickles your hands. My daughter is only brave enough to feed them when her daddy is with her. Since she was with people that she hardly knew she was afraid to feed the animals, but she did let her grandma pick her up and comfort her while she watched her fearless brother feed the deer and alpacas.

We learned about how smart the birds are on a previous trip that we went on. So while we were there my kids and I were showing grandma and papa how to talk to the birds. We got one of the birds to play peek a boo.  When we were leaving one of the birds said

“let’s go out tonight”

I said what did you say?

the bird responded “let’s get a drink”

I said, “who have you been talking to?”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I told my husband that the bird asked me out on a date. He said the zoo keepers must be having parties after hours. Oh man, it was so funny.

Rhonda, sent me a beautiful long sleeved blue shirt. I was really surprised at how light weight it was. It was a hot sunny day and I expected to roast in my new shirt but that didn’t happen. I was extremely comfortable and protected. I really like my new shirt. My only complaint would be that you have to hand wash it. I’m not so much into hand washing my clothing.
