Thank you for this giveaway! I love the country road feel of the site. The layout isn’t confusing, however, and it’s easy to determine where to go based on the menu at the top, and the more stylized menu on the side in the form of the road sign.

  9. Katie on May 11th, 2009 6:13 am

Their website is so easy to use! And I really like the “20 Recipes for under 2 bucks” section.

I also like the option of having the Carryout Menu online! We have some hard copy menus – but they are easily lost or misplaced (my girls love playing with our menus) and having it online is SO handy! I’ve used the carryout service before and it’s a great option for Bob Evans food!

  13. jennirv4967@gmail.com on May 11th, 2009 7:36 am

I tried going through their website, and couldn’t bring up their menu. I got an error message that it couldn’t be found. They really need to work on making sure every link goes to a real page.

Think the swinging sign is a bit cheesy.

  14. Liz on May 11th, 2009 11:51 am

I like that the menu can be seen by category and also by the full menu.

  15. Liz on May 11th, 2009 11:51 am

I don’t like the large image size that defaults as the background on each page. It slowed down the loading of each page on my computer at work.

  16. Ellen C. on May 12th, 2009 4:43 am

I like that the site loads fast. The pictures of the products are great. The bacon and potato brunch bowl looks delicious. Thanks for the chance.

The sight is much nicer than the old one, however I have dial-up service and find that the site moves ver, very slow. I am ont sure if the site is just slow or it is my dial-up,but I have found other sites that mocve much faster than this one.

I think they can branch out more into the pasta area. I also think they should have it where you enter the location, and you are given prices for that location.

  73. Kelly R. on May 13th, 2009 10:22 am

I like that they have the full menu online, however I find it much more appealing when a restaurant at least has the option for a one-click “view entire menu” option. It’s not a huge deal, but I’d prefer to look at the whole menu all at once, rather than clicking on each section.

  131. Janet Carpenter on May 20th, 2009 2:59 am

I like the site alot. The background scene of the farm conveys a peaceful, natural feeling. It was easy to navigate with the tabs at the top. Because some of the screens were a white background over the farm scene and the black letters loaded first, it was a little frustrating when I couldn’t read, waiting for the white to load.

I liked the kid’s area quite a bit.

  200. LynnC on May 25th, 2009 4:05 am

When I go to a restaurant’s website, I’m usually going for nutrition information. I’m glad Bob Evan’s offers nutrition information, but it took me a minute to find it under the menu tab. I don’t like the way they have links to each section of their menu; when I want to look at a menu online it should be similar to looking through a menu in a restaurant. When I walk into a restaurant, do you ask me if I want to look at the beverage menu, the dinner menu, the senior menu, or the dessert menu? No. You just hand me the whole thing and it should be the same way online.

  266. Alexis on May 26th, 2009 6:14 pm

It says there is stuff for teachers and then when you get there, there is nothing. They should have something there since they have a tab for it.

I hate flash websites. Hate them hate them hate them! They take too long to load, crash my computer if I have more than 1 open at a time, and are just annoying! Whats wrong with HTML? Nothing! Anyway, other than that, its a decent website, maybe a bit scatterbrained though, its got a little of everything and alot of nothing. Also, you have to navigate thru too many sub-menus to get to any real content.

I did like that there are recipes though, I love BE sausage for breakfast and just frying it up can get a little old sometimes. That being said, I would not expect recipes to be on this site… the don’t really belong…

Anyway, thanks for the giveaway, I love BE restaraunts too, there’s one less than a mile from my house and we make a weekly pilgrimage there to save me the trouble of cooking at least 1 day per week!

  299. Leslie Raymond on May 27th, 2009 8:05 am

I like that it loaded pretty quickly despite all the neat features. I absolutely LOVE the barn scene used in the background. And I learned something new: Bob Evans and Mimi’s Cafe (which I frequent fairly often) are part of the same family.

  300. Louise Brouillette on May 27th, 2009 8:27 am

    Easy to navigate website.

I like the background on the home page and I really like the set-up and how they post the menu on the website. That’s a big help when Im searching for a place to go eat, especially if im doing research for places to eat on vacation.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

Mothers Day Recipe Collection is my favorite there!

  307. Deborah R on May 27th, 2009 10:03 am

I like the new site – it’s not too slow, it’s well-organized and it’s attractive. The only negative I could offer is that it’d be faster if it were a little less graphic intensive – maybe they could get rid of the farm background on deep link pages.

  308. sabine blanch on May 27th, 2009 10:18 am

    i like the recipe collection

  309. Marie on May 27th, 2009 10:33 am

The site is very user-friendly which I appreciate and I love the fact that it includes recipes!

  310. Leigh Nichols on May 27th, 2009 10:41 am

Like the site- but with that countryside background, it takes a bit for everything to load to where you can read it- even on hi-speed.
    Thanks!

  311. Renee Turner on May 27th, 2009 11:44 am

I like the pictures of food that appear on the front page- very tempting, it’s very easy to navigate the website, it’s very informative, I like the recipes, and I like that you can order gift cards on the website- very convienient!

  312. Thomas Gibson on May 27th, 2009 12:35 pm

I like their 30 meals under $5.99 feature.

  313. Tammie on May 27th, 2009 1:24 pm

I like how they’ve been able to keep ‘under the radar’ (sarcasm). Until I began seeing giveaway contests featuring Bob Evan’s products, I thought the ONLY thing they sold was breakfast sausage in local grocery stores! ;)

  314. tanya on May 27th, 2009 1:31 pm

I like that you can see the menu on the website.

i love how fast everything loads on the website. I guess my dislike is that there is limited consistency on navigation. Some things ope a new window, other things load into the one frame and others take the whole page…love the menus and recipes on there.

  338. Janet on May 27th, 2009 9:46 pm

    I heart their menu:)ty 4 the entry:)

  339. Suanne Giddings on May 27th, 2009 10:06 pm

  340. Heather C on May 27th, 2009 10:45 pm

I do like the swing-down signage. Cute.

I did not like that the kids page opened in a new window…but that’s my personal preference.

    Very informative site.
