My First Mother’s Day Giveaway – GPS Unit

May is known as mommies month in my house. The whole month revolves around me. May sixth is my birthday and Mother’s day is right around the corner. I don’t have a whole bunch of Mother’s Day goodies for you but I do have one big one and some smaller announcements to come. So let’s get this party started right!!!

Introducing the Motorola

MOTONAV™ TN20

MOTONAVTN20front

The Motonav TN20 is a removable GPS device. It weighs less than 5 oz. and has 320 by 240 pixels. You get turn by turn directions and over one million searchable places including restaurants, gas stations and lane guidance. You can zoom in and out with a touch screen and you have 2D and 3D map perspectives. It even includes a Speed Limit display and warning. Have you ever turned onto a street and wondered what the speed limit was. I’ve often wondered if the person in front of me knew what it was. It comes with a car charger, windshield mount, and a dash mount. The battery will last up to 2.5 hours.

I have not received one and I have not tried one, but I do need one.I need Motorola to understand that I NEED ONE too. Pretty please with sugar on top. Actually, I would prefer the next model up. I get so lost all the time. I had GPS on my phone for a while but what’s the point if my GPS phone service has outages in the areas I always get lost in. So we aren’t using it anymore. I want the TN30. The TN30 has Bluetooth so it can connect to my phone and I can get phone calls through it while I’m driving. It is illegal in the state of Washington to drive while talking on the phone. So, I need this. The MOTONAV TN30 also has a larger database for points of interest and is for the a more advanced GPS user. That part is for my husband, he is MORE ADVANCED. He checks out every little detail when it comes to technology. Sorry honey, even if this giveaway was for the TN30 you can’t enter.

Win It: the TN20

Enter by telling me why the mom in your family needs it; If it happens to be you, why do you need it. It would be nice too if you visited Motorola to thank them.

My husband doesn’t like to ask for directions. He asks me where he should be going (and I have no clue). This would save us from a lot of arguments. This would also be nice to have, so maybe I can find our Prairie Gardens store. Thanks!

Well, I got into a bad car accident six years ago that really shook me up. My husband had been driving me around everywhere even if I only had to go around the corner to the store. I have not been behind the wheel of a car since until late last year after our daughter was born because I had to take her to her doctor appointments when my husband was at work. I have recently overcome my fear of getting into another bad accident, however, I am directionally challenged and tend to freak out when I am lost. For the safety of my daughter and my peace of mind I desperately need a gps but cannot afford it at the moment.

  13. Samantha Aluse says:

What mother DOES NOT need this? We all have to run here, run there, parties, activities, friends houses, you name it we have to go there. And Mom’s like me… well we need a GPS so that maybe, someday, we can get there without getting lost and hence get there on time!

I would be the mom that’s in need of this… usually I’m the “MPS” (mommy positioning system) when my hubby drives, but it’s not quite as easy when I’m behind the wheel :)
