It’s my party and I’ll Cry if I want to

Dear Sabra,

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for hosting my part. My party plans were huge, I invited 42 moms and their children to my Mediterranean themed party. I bought Costco sized packages of veggies and crackers, and chips. I saw that only two people RSVP’d but I didn’t let that get me down. Last time I threw a party my driveway was so full. We had an overcrowded house. This time no one showed up, I was sick (I wanted to cancel anyways) and it snowed. I was so depressed (Even though I wanted to cancel I was still depressed that no one came). I fed my children and my son was covered in hummus. I was too depressed to take a picture of it.

So what did i do today. Today, I crashed my friend’s party. I guess I didn’t exactly crash her party. I was invited, but I took all my party supplies over to her house to share them and it was so much fun. I had THE best time. I talked with other moms and my children played. They played with out needed me the whole time. My daughter is usually very shy and wants me to be right next to her, but today; she played with her brother and other friends. Moms really need to take a break for themselves.

Summer throws awesome parties. The hummus was greatly received as well. My friend Pei said she liked it, she could eat it even though she was on the cleanse diet. Her daughter Ava ate it as well and it isn’t something that her daughter will usually eat. YUMMY Sabra.

I will add pictures and video in the morning of the party I crashed. ***UPDATE*** with video, pictures are still on the way. Darn digital equipment. I wish it was ALL wireless.

Thanks again,

Louise

its a shame when you spend money on a party expecting a big turnout and no one shows but it was nice that the next day you had so much fun it made up for it, my meg was extremly shy, one time her teacher called because when she called her to read part of a book up front of the class she said megan started crying so bad it made her sick and that she was shaking bad, her entire body, and these are kids she had been in school with since k class and this was about 5thgrade. they were her friends, she hung out with them after school, but she couldnt explain it, just that shy , NOW she is always out and about , popular, loud in her opinions, so i am glad she outgrew the shy part, but she still cant get in front of a class or give a speech, but she can go to a party and not mind being the center of attention . so hang in there if she is shy, she will eventually outgrow it
