I'd be a little concerned about them not being secured to the booth/seat, too. If you think you'd use one frequently, though, and if your kids aren't huge wigglers, then I think one would be worth a shot.

Personally, I like the blue one, and it'd work for both kids.

That booster looks pretty stylish and the straps look good. My only worry about booster chairs is that they are not secured, esp. if you end up in a booth. It looks like this one may strap to a chair so that would be nice.

We basically found that our kids would simply move from a high chair (kept them in "later") right to an adult chair to avoid boosters. At restaurants, we try to get a booth and our toddler will sit nicely.

i see that the chair has restraining straps, which are good (not that they would keep my little houdini in, but still) but does the seat have straps to attach it to a chair? that's my complaint about restaurant boosters. they don't work well on booths because they're too far away from the table then, but if your kid wiggles around on them, they'll fall of the chair because it's not strapped to the chair. at home, i have a booster (strapped to a chair) that we use for micah. it has a tray, but we don't use it, rather push him up to the table. it's from safety 1st and i'm okay with it. not great, not horrible. my one complaint is that you can't remove the straps to wash them, so they are gross and have food encrusted in them. eeewww. for layla, i have a wooden dining chair that is kid sized and higher up than usual chairs. i got it at a garage sale, so i can't tell you where to find it, but i love it for here at home. she can get in and out herself and it doesn't take up any extra room. i HATE HATE HATE high chairs.
