This is the day,
This is the day that the Lord has made,
Let us rejoice and be glad in it,….
Oh how the Lord has captured my heart and i want to share that with my children. My daughter asked me the other day about God. It made me smile, I was wondering if it was prompted by her new book, This is the day.
Based on Psalm 118:24, This Is the Day! takes kids ages 4-7 on.
a daily walk through God’s creation – from deer grazing in the morning dew on
Monday, to robins’ nests and butterflies on Thursday to the beauty of rocky
coastline on Sunday
About the Author: Nancy White Carlstrom lives in my area the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She lives in the San Juan Islands and I hear they are beautiful and only a few hours away from me. “I have always felt a deep connection to the natural world and have long enjoyed
the Psalms,” says Carlstrom who chose the San Juan Islands in the Pacific
Northwest, one of her favorite destinations, as the book’s setting. “This Is the
Day! is a celebration of God’s creation encouraging the readers to be surprised
