Today, I took my children to the Children’s museum in Seattle.
It was sooooooooo much fun. My kids had a great time and there is so much to do there. We wanted to go when all the other moms in my moms club went, but I had an appointment I completely forgot about so we went with another mom that wasn’t able to go that day.
WOW, my daughter made connections with this mom and her children that she hadn’t made yet with other kids. I was SO amazed as I watched her. I didn’t take my camera because I knew I would be carrying children all day, but I was surprised because I only carried one child. The boy who can’t walk yet (and rightly so he’s only 11 months) They played in the Curious George exhibit and Zoe hugged the statue of George. She also stacked blocks, played putt putt, and watched her brother go down the slide.
My daughter had more energy today than I have ever seen in her. It was no surprise to me that she wanted to go to bed at four pm. She will probably have a lot to tell us tomorrow when she has energy again. I think she walked over a mile.
My son, whom I wore in the sling, tried ever so hard to stay awake the entire time but he could not possibly do it. His eyes were too heavy and he just passed out. He was so cute snuggled up against me. I love it when he is close to me because he is NOT a snuggler like my daughter is.
Who knew how many different things there were at the museum. The place is crazy though.

Sounds like everyone had a great time.

I love the Children’s Museum…when it’s not super busy anyway
…but unfortunately both of my kids get bored with it to quickly to make the trip worth while (especially since a lot of the fun things are “blocked” off for only the youngest kids, seriously like 1/3 of the place!)
so enjoy it while they are little! I’m glad you had a great time!
