Keurig was founded by coffee lovers who believed that coffee should always
be served fresh, whether at home or at the office, just as in a gourmet coffee
house. They noticed that people were constantly leaving their homes and offices
in search of a fresh cup of coffee and asked themselves: “Why do we brew coffee
a pot at a time when we drink it a cup at a time?” From this question, the
revolutionary concept of Keurig K-Cup® portion pack brewing was born.
Keurig, Incorporated is the leader in single-cup coffee brewing technology in
the U.S. for both home and office. Introduced in 1998, Keurig’s innovative
single-cup brewing system lets coffee lovers brew perfect coffee, one cup at a
time, in less than a minute.
Keurig’s patented single-cup brewing system lets
people brew a perfect cup of gourmet coffee in less than a minute without the
hassle of grinding beans, measuring coffee, handling filters or cleaning up.
Keurig takes away all the guesswork from brewing a consistently great cup of
We purchased our first one over two years ago – the Keurig Special Edition. My husband loved it so much he had to get one for work. We purchased the Keurig Platinum Brewer for home and he took the first one to work (where it’s still brewing a few cups a day in his office). After about a year it quit working. We called Keurig up and asked them what to do to get it working and they said “We’ll have one out to you soon.” Easy as that we had a brand new Keurig to make our coffee with. Perfect customer service if you ask me.
To use the Brewer, you have to purchase your coffee in K-cups, or use instant. I also use tea K-cups, Hot Chocolate K-cups, tea bags, ground tea; I’ve even used it to make Roman Noodles. You can choose from five different size cups that all brew in under a minute. It has a 60 oz water holding capacity and is fully programmable. We have it set on during the day and off at night. Since it brews in under a minute you don’t need to program it to make a cup of coffee. It saves energy and keeps you from wasting coffee. It makes a fine cup of coffee too. I love it and everyone that comes over loves it too. It makes entertaining easy since all of your guests can have whatever they want. My daughter loves being a helper so we let her load the machine and hit the brew button. She is only 23 months old and she’s making (and drinking) mommy’s coffee.
I love being able to choose what kind of coffee I want and if I’m not in the mood for coffee I can have my cup of tea. I’m so pleased with their brewer that I am happy to represent them with a giveaway through my blog and Momgiveaways. Keurig had been generous enough to provide one Platinum Brewer to our readers.
