Grandma D’s Mystery Prize a grand Prize

December 1, 2008 · Filed Under Blog tour, Grandma D's, giveaway, wreath

Grandma D’s Tree and Wreath Farm sent my family a Christmas Wreath to hang on our door. I have never had a real tree for Christmas (with my husband). I was very excited to get my wreath. I didn’t open it right away but my room still started to smell like that fresh Evergreen smell.

When I did get it out of the box my daughter was afraid to touch it. She wanted yer younger brother to touch it first. So I let him touch it. He smiled, and she still didn’t want to touch it.

Look at this, this was the first Christmas decoration I put up this year and I put it in a central location so that we could all enjoy it. It smells so good. (sorry Becka I guess you can’t come visit).

Ah the scent of fresh pine is so relaxing and comforting. It leaves me with a peaceful feeling. I can recall times when my Dad usd to bring ome a Fresh cut tree and before putting it up he had to cut some of the trunk off, oh I just loved the smell I used to put it near a warm place so we would have the fresh pine smell in the entire house. Memories, what would we do without them.

  56. Anonymous on December 6th, 2008 9:45 am

I love the scent of pine. It reminds me of when I was a small child and we didn’t have much but we had a tree with those big christmas lights on them I would sit by the tree and just look at the colors and imagine how they were made so beautifully. I want to wish everyone Merry and blest Christmas.
