Well, the Parent Bloggers Network wants to know what you do for the holidays to save money? Do you make decorations or make the gifts.
Growing up I made a ton of decorations. I have no idea where they are now. I think the ones that have survived are now on my dad’s tree. Which, they might not even put up a tree this year. My sister and I are both having Christmas with our significant others. For me that means just my family here in WA.
We haven’t made anything yet. Last year I created an ornament for my daughter. I should make one for my son too. That way they both have one.
We’ll see.
I will make my daughter’s birthday cake from scratch. Her birthday is right after the holidays. This is the first time she had anything sweet. This was her first birthday. She loved Christmas and then getting to have cake. Oh man, my little girl just loves food and she knows what chocolate is. 
Well enjoy.
We have plans to make ornaments this year. We just bought a new tree and it is huge. I just don’t want to go and buy a bunch of ornaments this year. I saw some really cute ones at halmark made of buttons. I think I could totally make my own for cheaper.
