I’m not sure I got all of my prizes from the above places but I won over at MomDot
I won a nursing cover, but I’m not going to be pregnant again and my mom friends don’t care if people see them nursing so I don’t think they would want a fancy cover. So I traded and I’m getting the book club.
Oh and I was honored with two Blogger Awards so long ago.

Queen of The Road Contest

I had the opportunity to read Queen of the Road by Doreen Orion.

I honestly haven’t finished yet. I haven’t had the book for very long but once I started reading it I didn’t want to put it down. It is just hard to read with two children that need you 24/7.

Her writing style is witty and charming at the same time. I find myself wanting to find out what her and her husband are going to get into next.

In one chapter she is on a farm learning about chiggers and then she finds herself driving a tractor, quite well in fact. I like what she says “A princess can do anything she puts her mind to”.

She also finds herself at a nudist RV stop. Here is some video to share:


Doreen is in her second marriage and it is a match made in heaven. I feel like her sometimes, I think I could go on the road with my husband. We don’t argue very often and I don’t have much to complain about. She is a psychiatrist that likes to work all day in her pj’s in bed until, her husband convinced her to go on the road.

Now she is an author, writes a blog, and would love to come to your book club. The book actually has a reader guide for you and your book club. This is a book that is sure to leave you smiling.

She also seems to sharing her adventures on youtube or you can go to her site.

I’m Thankful this Year because….

God gave me a beautiful family. A son that makes me laugh, a daughter who loves to cuddle and a husband that loves me more and more every day.

I have a wonderful support group with my MOMS Club (please forgive me for posting this picture but it is one of my favorites and your kids are all so cute)

It is thanks to this wonderful MOMS Club that I was able to get a picture of my family in one sitting.

I am also thankful for antidepressants and that we have a roof over our heads. I’m thankful for the Internet and blogging, because I was able to meet all of you in this party.

I am thankful for my children. Miles had a difficult birth and I’m so very thankful that God let him stay on this earth with us.

Day Eleven (November 26): Staci A, mommas gone over the wall
If you could only eat ONE food on Thanksgiving Day, what would it be? Do you have a home cooked meal for Thanksgiving or do you go out to eat? Does your family dress up?
I would love to eat Mexican food. We do this for Christmas at my grandmothers because by the time you have had four or five holidays (big family), everyone is tired of Turkey. Mexican food is my all time favorite food.
We’re going over to my MOMS Club. We always have a home cooked meal, although; last year since I was pregnant my husband wanted to take me out for dinner but I was too tired. So we had mac and cheese.
No, we don’t dress up. I do for Christmas though!
One more day to go!

I had the opportunity to review their product. I’m still waiting to get mine in the mail, it should be here today or tomorrow or some time very soon and then I’ll update my post with a picture of the sample I got.

I went to the site and found a birth anouncement magnet that was completely customizable. I changed it to be a Holiday greeting from my children to the family. It was so simple to do. The whole process took less than thirty minutes and it took that long because I was taking care of my kids and watching tv at the same time.



Photo upload is very fast and placement is very fast as well. I just can’t believe how easy it was. I also thought the pricing was really great. Especially since I picked out magnets. You can get cards, announcements and magnets. The magnets are 1.99 each and with this new discount they are going to be 1.00 each.

If you think about the price of magnets, they are usually 4 to 5 dollars a piece, well these are customized like you want them and 1.00 each for a limited time. Go, hurry, why are you still on my site?

I don’t have any pictures of our tree because I was pregnant. I don’t think you can over decorate and my husband would love a yard to do a Griswald Christmas with blow up decorations and fill up the whole yard. We have candy cane lights to go up our side walk.

These are two pictures of my daughter last year around Christmas. This is her Christmas dress and coat. We must have been getting ready to go to church. I don’t look dressed up but I couldn’t fit into anything decent.
