Bright Spot in the Dark

October 17, 2008 · Filed Under Rainbow Bright, man cave, the parent bloggers network

We all have things that we just can’t let go of from some special time in our life. I have some dolls from when I was 5 years old. I just can’t give them up. They’ve even been passed down to my sisters and I had to fight to get them back. These are my Rainbow Bright Dolls, that came out in the 80’s.

Just so you know, this is not my entire collection. I have a few more dolls and puzzles in hiding in our storage unit. I have Murky and Starlight. Do you think I’m crazy? Probably so, but at least I’ve been able to give them to my daughter to play with. She was playing with them until she got her Corduroy bear. Now this is her favorite toy.

Do you have anything hidden in a “cave”. I say “cave” because some people have a “man cave”. You know, that man’s domain and he won’t let you get rid of it or something in there. Well you can win a “man cave”. This is sponsored by Billmelater

“Man Cave” was a term invented by the HGTV network. Find out the real deal at http://www.themantuary.com
